School Nurses
The School Nurses of Hickory Public Schools are employed through Catawba County Public Health Department.  Each school in the HPS system has access to a School Nurse.  School Nurses believe that health status directly influences a student's ability to learn.

New Tdap immunization requirement for upcoming 6th graders.
All upcoming 6th graders are required to have the Tdap vaccine before the 2008-2009 School Year.  Contact your child's current doctor for more information or you can call and schedule an appointment through the Catawba County Public Health Department Immunization clinic at 828-695-5881.  Please contact you child's School Nurse if you have questions.
