On July 2nd, our Board of Education named two new principals for Hickory Public Schools.  Mrs. Pamela Helms will be the new principal at Northview Middle School, and Mr. Grover Linebarger will be the new principal at Catawba Valley High School.

 

Both educators have a great deal of experience.  Mrs. Helms was most recently principal of Elkin Middle School in Elkin, and Mr. Linebarger was principal of Sweetwater Elementary in the Catawba County School system.

 

We are fortunate to get two quality educators to lead these schools.  Their first goal is to do what is best for children.  We welcome both Mrs. Helms and Mr. Linebarger.
