I am a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College.  This is my eighth year at Jenkins Elementary.  I have taught first grade and second grade and now third grade.  I grew up in Lenoir, Norh Carolina and currently live in Claremont.  I am the mother of an East Carolina University freshman and a 7th grader. 

 

I entered teaching after years in other career fields.  I have traveled around the U.S. and to Korea in the Air Force.  I have also worked as an emergency medical technician, a paralegal and at the Catawba Science Center.
