BOE lunch at GrandviewMembers of the HPS Board of Education and Superintendent Adell's cabinet team recently visited Grandview Middle School for a tour and luncheon.

During the visit, guests were invited to the classroom of sixth grade math and science teacher, Brad Hamby. His students were actively engaged in lessons that incorporated the use of their Chromebooks.

The three visiting Board members, Margaret Pope, Amy Monroe, and Sarah Temple, were fascinated with the academic collaboration through the use of the Chromebooks--provided through K-64 and funded through the Catawba County Board of Commissioners.

Following the tour of the school, guests were treated to a delightful lunch in the school cafeteria. The Child Nutrition Department provided a great meal for all!

The event was a win-win day for everyone! Lots of great growth and exciting events happening at Grandview Middle School! Thanks to Principal, Dr.Jennifer Griffin, for the intriguing tour!
