Judy Jolly strategic planningHPS employees and community members have joined forces to review the district's strategic plan. With an intense review of the district's goals, the team collaborates during evening meetings -- scheduled to continue over the next several months.

Led by Dr. Timothy Sims, director of federal programs, the committee is divided into study-groups with a close analysis of multiple content areas including: preparation of high school graduates for work, further education and citizenship; personalized education; excellent educators; up-to-date financial, business, and technology systems to serve the HPS family at large; and opportunities to support healthy, safe, and responsible students.

Team members are examining multi-tiered systems of support, instructional frameworks, social/emotional learning, pathways to grade level reading, teacher recruitment, beginning teacher plan, expanding career/college pathways, K-64, grading policy, accreditation, Live Well Schools, and so much more!
