2018 holiday card winnerNine students, representing the HPS schools, were selected to have their artwork included in the district's 2018 holiday card.

The cards are mailed to more than 200 school districts and businesses, representing Superintendent, Dr. Robbie Adell, and the school district.

This year's winning artists include:

Jenkins Elementary School:  Mahan Ashabi, 5th Grade

Longview Elementary School:  Jacqueline Juarez-Hernandez, 4th Grade

Oakwood Elementary School:  Jocelyn Aranzolo Castro, 5th Grade

Southwest Primary School:  Natalia Vue, 2nd Grade

Viewmont Elementary School:  Melanie Anaya-Ramirez, 4th Grade

Northview Middle School:  Candy Reyes, 7th Grade 

Grandview Middle School:  Olivia East, 8th Grade  (1st place winner and image on this page)

Hickory Career & Arts Magnet High School:  Amelia Schlosser, 10th Grade

Hickory High School:  Christopher (Ryan) Nance, 12th Grade (2nd place winner)
