Students should be able to complete their homework based on the skills that we learned that day in class. Please let me know if your child is having difficulty with nightly homework.
I encourage all of my students to read EVERYDAY! You can read a book, the newspaper, comic books or magazines. Practice makes perfect!!
I also like for my students to practice writing in the real world on a regular basis. At least once per week, practice writing in a journal, send an email to a friend or relative, write a letter to a friend or relative, help make the chore and grocery list at home . . . WRITE, WRITE, WRITE!
