  • Too Sweet
  • My mom gave me a valentine.

    My teacher did the same.

My friends each gave me one as well.

The cards all had my name.

I at the chocolate heart from Mom,

    The goodies from Miss West.

    I even ate the lollipop

That said, “You are the BEST!”

I tried to eat a little more

    Of all that yummy stuff,

But Mom said, “No more for today,

    I think you’re sweet enough.”

  • Please note that word family list or letter sheets will begin this week.  Please take a couple minutes each night to review these with your child.

  • Monday--Baggy book.  Please read with your child.  At the beginning of the week you may need to read the book to your child.  We will begin with the same book for a week and transition to a book every couple of days.  Eventually the goal is a new book each night.  Take some extra time on Monday nights to work on this book since there is no other homework on this night.

Tuesday-- color word practice sheet  Happy Valentine's Day!

Wednesday---draw a picture and write one sentence, really try to move to your child writing the sentence instead of always dictating and you writing.  Progress Reports come home.

Thursday---additions sheet, ask your child about the Billy Jonas concert!

Friday--  no homework, please take time to read to your child.
