 Homework
  • See Daily Planner Monday-Thursday and initial when your child has finished.

  • Read 30 minutes each night in addition to other homework.  Students have Scholastic Reading or Time For Kids Reading each night.

  • Follow Words Their Way schedule for Mon-Fri. assignments. Our new spelling week is from Wed. to Wed.  The children have a list of assigments to do each night in preparation for their test on Wed.

  • Math assignment Monday-Thursday as recorded  daily in planner. Most nights this assignment is in the Math Homework workbook.

  • Study multiplication facts  at every opportunity: waiting in the doctor's office, riding in the car, free cell phone apps, etc.

  • Please provide your fourth grader with a quiet place to do his or her homework.  The kitchen table is not the best place to study because of the noise made while preparing dinner.  Also, your child is more likely to seek your help, rather than work independently if you are nearby.

  • Homework is always practice for previously learned material.  98% of our class is doing their homework daily.  Developing good study habit early is so important to their future.
