Class: K-5 Music         

Students in grades K-5 have one general music class per week.  The program is a Kodaly-based program in which students develop music literacy in a sequential way.  The development of the appreciation of American folk music, music from other countries, and art music by the master composers is emphasized.  In addition to general music, 4th and 5th graders also participate in chorus.
