Our theme for this month is:

Our Flower Garden

Spring has finally made its appearance.  My favorite thing about the springtime is the time I spend digging and planting and watching new flowers grow in my flower garden.  Do you know the names of some different types or flowers?  What else could we find in a flower garden?  Here are some of the words and phrases we may use in speech this month to help us learn about our theme while we practice our speech and language skills.  You can practice these words at home by talking about the sounds, making up sentences, or using them in games.

flower     dig    shovel    hoe     ivy

chrysanthamum     rose     daisy

lavendar     lily    hydrangea     rosemary

peony     snapdragon    pansy     bulb

seed     shovel     hoe     spade     sunshine

rain     dirt     soil     seedling     sprout

leaves     rocks     birdbath     perenial

annual     plant     wildflowers     mushroom

bloom     petal     dragonfly     bee     butterfly

ladybug     grasshopper     moth     caterpillar

grub     spider     web     beetle     ant

We're all in this together!
