Welcome
to Catawba Valley High School. For those of you who have
students in our school please be assured that the goal of our
faculty is to provide your student with a relevant and
successful learning experience. A learning experience that will
keep them caught up with their age appropriate cohort or to
catch-up those who have fallen behind their cohort for any
reason. We provide lessons structured for the mainstream
student; we also modify and extend lessons to provide
lesson content in a style tailored to assist those needing
special accommodations.
We are successful when we have a student performing to the
best of their ability and demonstrating the behavior and
attendance that will allow us to recommend him/her for inclusion
with their cohort at their home school. If behavior or
attendance prevent us from recommending their return to their
home school we will promote and graduate as appropriate for
their status, as their class room grades warrant.
We especially welcome your
participation in the success and encouragement of your child.
Your praise and participation add relevance and significance to
the structure and content we are attempting to give to your
loved one. What you offer to their success we have no way of
creating or replacing. Our mutual growth and achievement through
you and yours is a fully collaborative process and we can not do
it without you.
