There are approximately 450 students currently enrolled at Grandview in sixth through eighth grade. 

 

Classes begin at 7:30 a.m.  For those students who ride with parents we ask that they arrive at school no earlier than 7:00 a.m.  Breakfast is served in the cafeteria beginning at 7:10 a.m.

 

The school day ends at 2:20 p.m.  Car riders are to be picked up by 2:30 p.m. 

 

 

For more than 46 years Grandview Middle School, home of the Eagles, was located at 737 12th Street SW.  During the 2003-2004 school year, along with the excitement and anticipation of a new facility, students and faculty members were faced with the challenge of naming a new building at a new location.

 

Overwhelmingly students and faculty members voted to keep the same school name.  With the strength and tenacity of Eagles, Grandview pride has stood the test of time.  In its new facility students, faculty members, and administrators have pledged to continue to focus on the achievement, character, and unity that have made Grandview such a special place.
