| GRANDVIEW MOVIE DAY THIS SATURDAY! |
Grandview's PTA is sponsoring Movie Day at the Carolina Theatre this Saturday, March 13. Showtimes are 2:30 and 5:30. You choice of movies are The Blind Side, Old Dogs, and Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. Cost is $6 which includes the movie, popcorn and drink. Hope to see you there!

| SPRING PICTURES |
Spring Pictures will be made on Monday, March 15th. All students will be photographed. No payment is required on picture day. A proof will be sent home for ordering.

| HALF DAY FOR STUDENTS |
There will be a half day for students on Friday, March 26th. Dismissal time will be 10:50 AM.

| REPORT CARDS |
The next report card will go home with students on Friday, April 16, 2010. Parents: Please sign the report card envelope and return the envelope to the homebase teacher.

Please link your Harris Teeter VIC card to Grandview's account #2862. Grandview will receive a percentage of your purchases of Harris Teeter products. The program runs from August 1-May 31 and VIC cards must be re-linked each year. Thank you for your support!

| SNOW MAKE-UP DAYS FOR STUDENTS |
Snow Make-up days for recently missed days for inclement weather have been set for February 15 and May 31. These days will be regular school days for students.

One Call Now is an automated messaging service that allows schools to contact parents within minutes. Hickory Public Schools is implementing this system in their schools. This system will contact parents when your child is out, when school will be closed or delayed, or to inform you of PTA meetings or other upcoming events.
