SERVICES FOR STUDENTS

 

 

1.     Circulation of books:  The loan period for books in the g= eneral collection is two weeks.  Ther= e is no limit to the number of books a student is allowed to check out; however, students must realize that they are responsible for all books in their possession.  A student may not= check out a book or any other material if he/she has an overdue book or other unp= aid fines.

 

2.     Circulation of reference books:  The loan period for reference book= s is overnight (from fourth period until before first period of the next school day).  The fine for an overdue reference book is ten ($ .10) cents per period per book.<= /p>

 

3.     Circulation of magazines:  Current issues of magazines remain= in the Media= Center.  Back issues may circulate for one = class period or overnight.

 

4.     Copy machine:&n= bsp; A copy machine is located in the Media Center for student use.  Copies are t= en ($ .10) cents per copy.

 

5.     A multi-station computer lab is available to all classes and students from 7:15 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Mon-Thurs; 7:00 a.m. un= til 3:00 p.m. Fri.  Programs avail= able include:  Microsoft Word, Exce= l, Publisher, and PowerPoint.  Printouts cost ten ($.10) cents per page (black & white) and twenty-five ($.25) per page for color.
