served in the military and to create and send letters of thanks to military personnel , including active duty, reserve, cadets, and
veterans.

The letters
would feature about 150 signatures of Hickory High students, faculty, alumni,
staff, and supporters, and would be sent via mailing tube to various recipients
throughout the world.
Format: a 2 by 3 poster featuring the information
and accolades of the recipient at the top, signatures in the middle, and a
short message at the bottom saying: The
students, faculty, alumni, and staff of Hickory High thank you for your service
to our nation.
Accomplishments
thus far: sent off 16 letters of thanks
to military personnel including veterans of the Korean War to currently serving
soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The names of
these 16 will be posted at the table.
