Visitors

For the safety of our students, all visitors will be required to report to the office and receive a visitor's badge before entering the school.

If you are visiting and need to park, please park either on 2nd Avenue down by the playground fence, or along 25th Street.  The 2nd Avenue spaces directly in front of the school are reserved for our PRIDE tutors.

Dismissal Information

We cannot allow a child to go home in a way that is different from their usual dismissal without a note or phone call from the parent or guardian.  Please call or write any time there is a change in the way your child is to go home.

If you need to check your child out of school early for a dentist or doctor appointment, we understand.  However, checking out children early for convenience upsets the classroom.  At the end of the day teachers are giving last minute instructions on homework, etc.  It hurts students to miss these end-of-the-day instructions.  Also, the State requires students to be in class a minimum number of hours each year, and continuous early dismissals put us in jeopardy of being out of compliance.  We dismiss car riders at 2:55, so we ask that parents not pick up their children between 2:30-2:55.

School Rules

In order to provide a safe, consistent and nurturing learning environment, our staff has developed common school rules and procedures.   We would like parents to be familiar with these so you can reinforce them with your child.

School Expectations:

1.  Be respectful.

2.  Be safe.

3.  Be responsible.

4.  Be kind.
