| Love, Literacy, Legacy |
| Love, Literacy, Legacy is the name of Oakwood's library book donation program. Parents, grandparents, and others are invited to purchase a book for the Media Center in honor or memory of children, teachers, crossing guards, TAs, anyone, or in celebration of events, seasons, special dates, etc.
Those interested can look at a list of recently ordered books and choose one or more titles they would like to donate to the library. Mrs. Shoffner will affix a donation plate inside the front cover of each book citing names of those honored or remembered, names of the donors, the date, and any other notation requested.

If you are interested in partificpating in this library gifting program, please add $2.00 to the price listed in the block of the book you want to donate. If you pay by check, make it out to "Oakwood Elementary School"; write L L L in the memo line. Bring your payment to the media center so Mrs. Shoffner can write a recipet for you and plan the wording of the donation book plate. |

| Donate a Book-Honor Someone Special!! |
| Donate a book in Honor of your child or someone special to you!! Please look at the link below. These are the books available. When a book is donated we will have that child's name on the book that was donated in Honor of them. The books are categorized by price & title. If you would like to donate a book, please contact the Office staff & let them know which book you would like to donate. The PTA will be sending home a newsletter soon with more details. Make checks payable to Oakwood Elementary.

The PTA at Oakwood Elementary School welcomes and invites you to become a member!! By joining the PTA, you provide direct support and assistance in enhancing the learning experience of our children.
