We are a PBS Banner School!
Viewmont Elementary has been named a Banner School in the North Carolina Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Initiative Annual Recognition. We were recognized because of the results achieved by using school data to implement research-based practices and developing supportive systems to teach all students new behaviors. Viewmont received a banner to display and will be listed on the PBS website. Viewmont was also recognized at the "Coming Together Conference" for schools implementing PBS in November at the Koury Convention Center. Way to go Viewmont!

Summer Break!

The 2008-2009 school year has ended. The faculty and staff at Viewmont Elementary will spend the summer relaxing, traveling, and preparing for another successful school year ahead. We hope our students do the same. Enjoy your summer break and we will see you at the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year. Remember to keep reading and learning this summer! Students return to school Tuesday, August 25th, 2009.
