If you have pictures
of Viewmont students or fun events at our
school, please share them with us for the yearbook. You can leave photo CDs
in the PTA box or send them to your child’s classroom teacher.

Weekly After School Student Activities:

meets every Tuesday 3:00-4:00 in the music room.
Girls On The Run
meets every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:00.
Science Olympiad
meets every Wednesday from 3:05-4:00 in the computer lab.
Viewmont BLUE 4th & 5th grade Dance Team
meets every Thursday from 4:00-5:00 in room #26.
Viewmont Bear Foot Motion 4th grade Dance Team
meets every Friday from 3:00-4:30 in room #26.

Viewmont Elementary
was named a Banner School in the North Carolina
Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Initiative Annual Recognition in 2008.
Due to our PBS team's
successful completion of extensive training modules, our school's PBS evaluation results, and
the documentation of how Viewmont implements research-based practices and develops
supportive systems to teach all students new behaviors,
we were further awarded PBS Exemplar Recognition
for the 2008-2009 school year. Viewmont
has received two banners to announce our success that will be displayed in our
school.
