Dear Parents,

My name is Jennifer Lindsay, and I am the School Health Nurse here at Viewmont Elementary.  My scheduled days here at the school are on Tuesdays and Fridays, but I am also available to the school should an emergency arise throughout the week.  You can reach me on my pager at 431-6914 if you have questions or concerns.

I graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College in 1995 and have worked in both the hospital and doctor’s office setting.  I was hired by the Catawba County Health Department in August of 2005 and currently serve  Viewmont and Jenkins  Elementary Schools.

Our School Health Assistant Mrs. Rene is here everyday from 8:30-2:30.  The School Health Assistant works under the School Nurse and her duties include providing basic first aid and administering medication to students.  Please feel free to contact Mrs. Rene during the above hours if you have questions regarding School Health.

Please contact the School Nurse or Health Assistant at 324-7049 if your child requires medication or has a chronic health condition that could affect their time here at school.  We will be happy to discuss any questions or concerns you might have.
