
The Catawba County Youth Council, in partnership with the Catawba County Community child Protection and Fatality Prevention Team and other community partners, is seeking video submissions for the fourth annual Preventing Distracted Driving Video Contest.
All high school students from throughout Catawba County are invited to participate by making a 60-second video that addresses the dangers of driving distracted..
Last year, students from HCAM won first place.
Students may sign up to participate through the contest Facebook page:

Students may upload their video to YouTube (using a personal account or creating a new account) and email the link to
[email protected] by March 12th.
The contest will award a limo ride to lunch at Olive Garden for the winning team. In addition, more than $1,000 is available for the teams to win for their schools.
