Interim Human Resources Officer - Dr. Sylvia White
Hickory Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Sylvia White as our interim Human Resources Officer, replacing Tracy Sigmon. Dr. White has a proven track record of success in the human resources field, with over 14 years of HR experience at Newton-Conover City Schools as Director of Human Resources and, most recently, the Executive Director of Central Operations. We are confident that Dr. White will be an asset to our team.
As the interim Human Resources Officer, Dr. White will oversee all aspects of our human resources department, including managing employee relations, recruitment and retention, and compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
