Hickory City Schools offers a variety of facilities available for rent to meet the needs of our community. Whether you're planning a community gathering, sports event, or special occasion, our spaces provide the ideal setting. From gymnasiums and athletic fields to auditoriums and classrooms, we have facilities suited for a wide range of events and activities.

We view our district properties as valuable community assets and encourage their use for purposes that align with our educational mission and support the health and well-being of children and adults throughout our district.

Process for requesting a facility:

  • Fill out the FMX application below.
  • If the request follows the guidelines set forth in Policy 5030 & 5030-R, the request will be submitted to the building supervisor for approval.
  • If approved, the Facility Rental Office will notify the organization, schedule the event and generate an invoice.
  • Application, Certificate of Liability Insurance and Security Agreement must be received 14 days prior to the event.  
  • Payment due 15 days prior to the event.
