At Hickory Public Schools we take pride in ensuring that all food and supplies are handled in accordance with the 2013 USDA Food Code. Our team members received four hours of HACCP at the beginning of each school year along with completing various ServSafe training programs throughout the year.
Did you know that ALL North Carolina public school cafeterias are required to follow stringent HACCP guidelines? In fact, these guidelines are more stringent than those food safety practices through the USDA Food Code guidance.
