Nearly 250 graduating seniors walked across their school's football field for the 2019 commencement celebration.
The weather was clear and wonderful--with low humidity. Following the Presentation of Colors by the HHS JROTC, and music performed by the HHS Band and Choral Ensemble, Amy Joan Herfurth led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Two student speakers shared their reflections and words of wisdom with their classmates: Gillian Grace Murdock and Madeline Marie Pitts.
Principal Katherine Morningstar addressed the graduating class and all guests.
Following the award of diplomas, HHS Student of the Year, Marcus Phillips, rang the school bell, which is over 100 years old.
