Summer Meals at No Cost
Hickory City Schools offers no-cost summer meals for children ages 18 and under. Families may register to receive weekly meal pick-ups throughout the summer.
Registration is required for pickup locations to ensure enough meals are prepared.
Weekly Meal Pick-Up
Families may register for weekly meal pick-up. Registration helps us plan and prepare enough food to serve all participating children. Please complete one form per child.
Pick-Up Schedule
- Every Thursday, May 28 – August 13
- No pick-up on July 2
- Two-week meal boxes will be provided on June 25

Important Information
- Select one pick-up location only
- Families may not pick up meals from multiple locations
- Only select weeks when you are able to pick up meals
Meal Selection
If your child is not enrolled in a summer program:
Your child is eligible to receive a 7-day meal box each week. Select the weeks you plan to pick up meals.
If your child is enrolled in a Hickory City Schools summer program where meals are provided:
Your child is eligible to receive a 3-day meal box during the weeks they are enrolled in a program. These meals must be picked up at Henry Fork River Park.
During weeks your child is not enrolled in a program, you may pick up a 7-day meal box at the locations and times listed above.
When registering:
- Select each week you plan to pick up meals
- Choose a 3-day meal box for weeks your child attends a program
- Choose a 7-day meal box for weeks your child does not attend a program
Weekly Meal Rotation
- Week 1: Frozen meals (heat and eat)
- Week 2: Refrigerated items including bread, ham, milk, fruits, and vegetables
- Week 3: Shelf-stable, ready-to-eat meals

Important Information
- Your child is eligible to receive a 3-day summer meal box during the weeks they participate in on-site daily meals
- These 3-day meal boxes must be picked up at the Henry Fork River Park location only
- No meal pick-up or on-site meals will be provided during the week of July 4
- Two-week meal boxes will be provided on June 25

School nutrition programs help build healthy eating habits for life. Students in Hickory City Schools are provided nutritious meals through the National School Lunch Program.
Breakfast & Lunch At No Cost to Families for the 2025-2026 School Year
ALL students will receive Breakfast and Lunch Reimbursable Meals at no cost to families during the 2025-2026 school year as provided through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Student participation in this program is vital to this program's continued success!

You can easily manage your student's meal accounts using the PaySchools Central button located to the right. This feature empowers you to conveniently oversee and maintain your child's account balance.
